⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR OUR US CUSTOMERS ⚠️
We are so sorry to share that we’ve had to temporarily pause all shipments to the USA until at least Friday, August 29, 2025.
Starting on that date, new tariffs will apply to low-value items entering the US. In the meantime, we’ve been facing serious challenges at the border. Since August 10, our carriers have been turned back five+ times because US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is now strictly enforcing the $800 per-day import allowance for US buyers.
Here’s why this is happening:
- We ship from BC, which means parcels from Eastern Canada cross the border earlier in the day.
- If even one package on the truck pushes a US customer over their $800 daily limit, the entire truckload is refused — including all other parcels, ours included.
Unfortunately, this has left some of our customers’ packages stuck in transit. If this has happened to you, we kindly ask for your patience while we navigate this unprecedented situation. To prevent further issues (and to avoid shipping after the new tariffs take effect), we’ve removed the US shipping option from our shop for now.
This gives us time to:
- Review the new tariff costs, and
- Work on offering prepaid tariff options to make the process smoother for you.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support over these past 13 years. We appreciate you more than we can say, as our US friends account for nearly 80% of our customer base.
💕 Nicole
⚠️UPDATE - AUG 24, 2025 ⚠️
Please note that most of the parcels that were stuck on the Canadian side of the border have now made it through.
We are continuing to disable our shipping to the USA until after the tariffs are in place on Aug 29, 2025 until we understand if we will be required to collect and remit your import tariffs on your behalf in order to send parcels to the USA.
Once we know how things will work going forward, we will work to implement the necessary requirements as soon as possible. If we are required to collect and remit these fees, we will be drastically increasing our shipping fees for US customers in order to account for both our shipping costs and the tariffs. If we build the cost of the tariffs into the price of the products, you will have to pay higher tariffs overall.
